Here are this morning’s photos of the project. The right side has been filled in with dirt and is ready to have the flooring rebar laid in preparation for the concrete to be poured.
In the next photo, the left side shows dirt that is being placed and will be tamped down as you saw in the last photo. Continue reading Neighborhood Project – October 19, 2009
Here it this morning’s walk photo.
The previous day’s photo is HERE.
While I was eating breakfast this morning, this fellow walked by carrying his fishing pole on the way to to the river down the road.
Cane pole fishing was all I ever did on the farm. We had our pond stocked with catfish and I remember my mom and I fishing for dinner. Fishing was fun when I was a kid and I never thought about it as being a way to have a good meal.
Now I have a hunch that the fellow in the photo is on his way to capture a meal and he isn’t thinking about having fun. It has been a while since I have seen him on the way to fish. Hope he has a great day and makes his quota.
The house has been complete for some time. I guess I should document the fact. People have moved in and the second house is well on the was to being completed. Here is the last post.
Looks like the outside of the house is done and all the work is going on inside. The house to the back is making progress.
Here is a photo of the current state of the house I have been following. You can see that the outside has been smoothed and the window are in.
Here is today’s photo of the house construction I have been following. You will notice that they are well underway on the second house to the back as well.
Here is the progress on the roofing as of today. This was the previous post.
Here is the house progress as of this morning. You can see that the roof is going on. This has been a crazy year because normally we would be having rains every day. That is why most builders really try to make as much progress as possible so that they will be working under cover when the rains start.
I try, but it is difficult when they enjoy damaging the environment.
