I had a reader write and ask if the price for diesel was for liters or gallons. All prices are for gallons. Diesel is a fair amount cheaper when the prices rise. Also remember that Plus is 91 octane (87 in US) and Premium is for 95 octane (91 in US).

I took this photo yesterday. I guess I should have waited until tomorrow as I understand that 91 octane will go up 19 cents with tomorrow’s price change. Yesterday’s price for 91 octane was $2.83. That means Thursday afternoon it will be $3.02. I better fill up today!

The prices for gas must have changed last Thursday. Here is the price at a Shell station close to me. What is interesting is that this station is 2 cents cheaper per gallon than the Shell a block away. Normally they are the same. This price should be good until a week from this coming [...]
