I just saw on the news that gas is going up this weekend. 91 will go up 14 cents and 95 will go up 18 cents. May be time to fill up.
When I was at the Frontera (Paso Canoas) yesterday, I took a photo of the current gas price. Remember to subtract 4 from the octane rating to get the equivalent U.S. rating. i.e. 91 octane in Panama is 87 in the U.S.
91 octane will increase by 15 cents and 95 octane will increase by 29 cents.
I was out yesterday and took a photo of the current gas prices. Remember to subtract 4 from the obtain waiting to get the equivalent US octane rating.
Gasoline is going up 12 cents a gallon on Saturday. Fill up before then!
It has been a while since I posted the local gas prices. For comparisons remember that the octane ratings are different than in the US. 95 octane in Panama is 91 octane in the US. 91 octane is equal to 87. The V-Power is Panama 95 octane.
It has been a while since I posted local gas prices. These prices will go up again next Saturday, I think. Prices here are changed every two weeks. To compare to US prices, remember that you have to subtract 4 from the Panama octane number to get the US equivalent octane number. So 95 octane in Panama equals 91 octane in the US.
V-Power in the photo is 95 octane and the one above it is 91 octane, which would translate to 91 and 87 in the US.
If the prices continue to go up, then the following cartoon may be appropriate, if it isn’t already.
If you haven’t been listing to the news, the price at the pump will go up significantly this Saturday. If your tank isn’t full then fill up before Saturday..
I just received the current email related to increasing gas prices. Thanks Joy.
I saw on the news this morning that gas prices will be going up on Saturday $0.06, $0.11 and $0.14 for diesel, 91 and 95 respectively.
