Just a reminder to keep the donations coming for the Kid’s party December

Thank you so much for the donations that some of you have brought or sent.
We started with a party of 60 kids and we are up to 85! We are closing it
there due to space.
We have had donations of cash, hamburger meat and rice. We still need more
of the same plus 2 piñatas full of candy (2 age groups), 4- 5gal buckets of
ice-cream, hotdogs, fruit punch, sheet cakes for 85 kids, bags of candy so
they can take home and nice gifts.
If you have any questions, please call 6038-6239
Thank you again for your generosity and the willingness to give joy to these
I received a photo today of part of my extended family in Panama City. Lucca visited me a week ago and here is his photo in a school party dressed in typical Panamanian dress and doing a typical Panamanian dance. You go Lucca.
A new park for youngsters, between the ages of between 5 and 12, opens today. This is a park that David as well as Chiriquí as well as all of Panama should feel proud of. I am told that this is the only park of this type in all of Central America. A reader had told me about it and suggested that I go and take photos. Thanks to the reader for doing that.
This park is a couple blocks behind Iglesia del Carmen. This is on the street you take to Las Olas and you can’t miss it on the left side of the street across from Escuela Jose Maria Roy.
My friend Dario and his lovely wife became the proud parents of twins on Monday. Here is a photo of the new family. Chiriquí Chatter welcomes Luna and Estrella into this world. May their love shine on everyone.
Stats: Luna Linoshka Quiroz Rivera: weight 4.2 pounds and 45cm. and Estrella Nashira: weight 4.2 and 43 cm.
Football is very big in Texas. My grandson, Noah, lives in Austin and at the age of 12 loves the game. Luckily for me, one of the parents, videos all the games and stores them on a server that I can access.
Noah’s team, the Lions, is in the playoffs and, if successful, will get to go to Florida to compete. They came close last year. Maybe 2009 will be the year.
