I wonder if I could learn to pick a guitar,
I know as a profession, I wouldn’t get too far,
But it sure is something I’d like to do,
So I could write and pick out a ditty or two.
I wonder if it is hard to tie words to a tune,
I wonder [...]

When I hear songs from my past, it starts my mind remembering?
It makes me think of good times I’ve had or sometimes sad thoughts start entering.
If I hear Elvis Presley sing or Peter, Paul, and Mary,
It brings back thoughts when I was younger; it is really kind of eerie.
I can [...]

Have you ever been in an earthquake, where the windows rattle and the whole place shakes?
The tsunamis are quakes beneath the sea, they happen so fast many can’t flee.
Have you ever been in a hurricane, with its wind so strong and full of rain?
Now I have lived in tornado alley [...]

Did you ever wish you could be like the actors on the silver screen?
You could turn yourself into someone else, if only for a scene.
You could be the first archeologist to enter King Tut’s tomb,
Or maybe the first NASA astronaut to walk upon the moon.
One day you could be the [...]

Let’s take a trip down to the David Square.
There are always good things happening there.
We can get a cool drink if you wanta.
Fresh sugarcane and lime or a pipa de agua.
How about a hotdog, with mustard, relish and a little onion,
Ah jeez, a park like this is meant to have [...]

Lots of things I should have done, just never got around to it.
Still plenty more, I ought to do; somehow I just need to do it.
Why do we all procrastinate and put of till tomorrow,
Knowing that things left undone will only bring us sorrow.
I get up with good intentions; sometimes [...]

Have you ever noticed, when you hear pretty music in the air,
How good you feel as it removes your each and every care.
The more you listen, the more you hear, and the more you feel its power,
It seems to fill your heart with sweetness, and remove that which was sour.
They [...]

I miss you when you’re not here. I’m more at peace when you are near.
I miss the smile upon your face. It calms me in a state of grace.
I miss the smell of your hair, which wafts so gently through the air.
I miss your head upon my chest, when it [...]

Chef Melissa in Panama City, is an excellent chef and downright pretty,
She is obviously a flower child and about Hibiscus, she is more than wild.
Using Hibiscus she’ll make a tea, cold and refreshing or hot as can be.
Marmalades and chutney too, are just some of the things that she can do.
She [...]

I remember when I was a kid, one of the things I’d do for fun,
Was to grab an old tin can, and dig some worms, and to the fishin hole I’d run.
Just an old cane pole, a length of line, a cork, hook and sinker too.
These things were part of [...]
