For Sunday’s outing we went to Stella’s Marina Restaurant. The owner, Walter Unholz, always does a great job and I have never had a bad meal there.
The day was perfect. It was extremely pleasant to sit and watch the happenings on the water.

I had to get out of the house this morning. 36 hours of rain required me to get a small bit of sunshine. One thing I did was go by Las Brasas. If you know this restaurant, which is on the way to the airport, you know that it has been closed for remodeling.

Don’t forget that this Friday will be a special night at Renegado. There will be David’s special brochetas, and Sangría and live music.
David and Bertha invited me over to test the brochetas last Saturday night. They were outstanding. They were cooked just right and the seasoning was perfect. I gave them two thumbs up.

Apparently there is a new place for me to try in Boquete. It is called Sugar & Spice. Had I known about it on Sunday, I would have stopped in. If you get there before me, let me know how it is. Tell them you heard of them on Chiriquí Chatter.

I had an invitation to visit some friends in Boquete for afternoon coffee and conversation. This justified an opportunity to visit a new restaurant in Boquete. Roxane’s has been open since last December, but it is still new to me since I don’t get up to Boquete all that often.

Tuesday, I was out at lunchtime and I noticed that Renegado has a new Executive Menu between noon and 3PM. It is contains a main course, bread, a drink and dessert for $8.50. I couldn’t pass up another opportunity to have the outstanding Cannelloni.
