I’m the kind of friend who will help you hide a dead body, but if you betray me, just remember: I know how to hide a dead body.

Made it to the 2015 David Fair

We got there around 4:30 PM. Parking was $3.00. Entry for jubilados was $1 and for adults $2.

The highlight of the fair for me was finding the “la ghiotta” gelato area. Talk about hitting the spot! Between the three of us, we sampled 5 different favors.

La ghiotta had provided gelato for Delicias Italiana, which has now closed its doors. I had stopped by Delicias Italiana last week and found the doors locked.

The good news is that la ghiotta will soon be supplying Parmigiano Resturante with gelato soon. That by itself made the trip to the Fair worthwhile.

It has been a while since I have been to Parmigianos so this is a good reason to go by again.

I only took two car photos. One was this MG. The brand brings back memories of my high school years, when foreign cars started making their way to the U.S.

The MG was one of my favorites then. I looked at this car before I bought my Suzuki, but it was a little pricey for me.

Here is another car I felt was worth showing. It is called Brilliance and is serviced by Bremen. This car is from China and really looks nice. The prices are cheap enough to make worth looking at. They had several models, but I liked this one.

Other than that, the Fair was pretty much the same. As of now “Been There and Done That” again.

Other photos taken at the Fair.

At my age rolling out of bed is easy in the morning.
Getting up off the floor is another story.

I‘d call my fashion style “clothes that still fit.”.

New Apple TV Coming

Earlier this month Apple had a set of new announcements including the new Apple Watch release date. At that time they reduced the current price for the Apple TV to $69. I forecasted that the price decrease told me that a new Apple TV was coming.

This week most of the Apple Rumors center around a new Apple TV to be announced in the June Apple WWDC. Speculation is that it will be accompanied with a much faster processor (A8) and more memory which will be needed with the addition of more streaming content.

No price was given in the rumors, but my bet would be $99. When it comes out, I’m gonna get me one.

Momentos in David

I have had several people tell me about Momentos in David. Last Tuesday, Lilliam, Natalie and I tried it for ourselves.

Coffee, cappuccino. burgers, breakfasts, pastries and more are all available there.

There is a small amount of seating inside, but a large amount of seating outside. I think the majority of their business must come in the evenings.

Lilliam and I had cappuccinos and I have to say, they set a new standard in cappuccino artwork. Very taste too.

Natalie went for a frappe.

Lilliam tried a tart and liked it.

I ordered a strawberry waffle and everyone liked it.

It looked like the breakfast and burgers were in the neighborhood of $6+. All prices were consistent with what we ordered.

Here is a Google Map to Momemtos, which is on the south side of the InterAmerican Highway.

If you stop in, tell them you learned about them on Chiriquí Chatter.

I’m gonna have to get new pets, I’m running out of passwords.
