I have been too overwhelmed with projects to post some of the photos of places we have eaten at over the last few months. These were not initial restaurant visits, so maybe you will ignore my brevity. I will include an album at the end of the post with photos from the various sites.
Casona del Cuzco in Boquete
Last month after visiting the Tuesday Market at the BCP in Boquete, a good friend took us out to eat at Casona del Cuzco. My previous visit to this peruvian restaurant was when Heather was working on her thesis. Just like the first time, the food was spectacular. Most amazing was the appetizer plater that Lilliam and Natalie shared. It is the first of the three photos in the album. The other two fish dishes hit the spot too.
El Golazo in David
We had another group outing in David and intended to go to Macho Piccho. However, when we arrived, we found that it has closed its doors and is only available now in Boquete. Pity!
A quick alternative popped up and we went to El Golazo. It had been almost a year since we had been there, but the food was still to my liking. I stayed with fried shrimp.
Terra Restaurant in David
Another outing we made last month was to the Terra Italian Restaurant. It is always a good choice. I had a special heart attack plate of Alfredo pasta. Super good.
I always enjoy the food there and the hosts are extremely attentive.
Have has several more visits to Verona Pizzeria. On our last visit one person has the Calzone (Huge and very good). We also has another Desert treat. Notice the shaper of a rabbit added to the top. Yummy!
A new sign has been placed on the InterAmerican Highway and it will help in finding the restaurant.
I continue dropping into Delicia Italiana and Gelatio Pacifico. While both are very good, I think the edge is going toward Delicia Italiana. To add a little variety, I have stopped by Jewelberry yogurt several times. I see they have cheese nachos now in addition to the yogurt.
We stopped in Terraza’s the other night and had a sandwich, cappuccino and churro (blueberry for me and Lemon for Lilliam). While I didn’t buy any of the muffins, they certainly loped good.
As always, if you go to any of these places, tell them you learned about them from Chiriquí Chatter.
