Message for U.S. Citizens: Possible protests in Panama City

Following is the latest ACS message.

Per mainstream and social media reporting, the construction union, SUNTRACS, has called for nationwide strikes and protests tomorrow, April 1, 2014. Many major thoroughfares may be closed which will significantly impact traffic flow in the city. U.S. Citizens should pay close attention to media reports for disruptions and plan their movements accordingly.

There’s a thin line between ”I should tweet about that” and ”I should talk to a therapist about that…”

PANACHIF S.A. – David

IMG_1069Lilliam had to go to Panama City this morning and she went on PANACHIF. She likes this terminal better than the main terminal (less people) and likes the fact that the buses are not double decker, I would rather she fly, but a wise man never argues with a woman that has her mind made up.

I am happy to see that they are running an entirely new fleet of buses.

I imagine that many people don’t even know that there are two bus terminals in David.

CC Outage Today

This afternoon CC was down for a little over 3 hours. My WebHost sets a Bandwidth threshold to prevent a hacked website from running wild. Since last December, this site’s traffic has grown at a very high rate. Linear, but still faster than in past months.

So far in March, CC has 2 1/2 times as much traffic as in December. I guess that is good news. I have no problem with my Host setting limits that are reasonable. I have been hacked before and it is better to catch it early.

In this case it appears it is just growth pure and simple. As soon as I contacted my host they upped the limit.

Thanks to those of you that took the time to send me an email. I normally know when the site is down, but I was away from the house when it went down.

In case you are interested, I do keep a status site where I record known problems. The first entry in the site shows the activity for the last 24 hours.

It’s been years since I went out of my mind. I doubt I ever go back.

Lilliam is on her way back from the shrink. I can’t wait to find out what I need to work on.
