I received this yesterday and invested over 11 minutes watching it. If you grew up in the 50’s in the US, you will probably find the next 11+ minutes a voyage into the past. We did live in the best of times.

  1. A friend of mine had one EXACTLY like that when I went to the University of Miami. Rolling down Key Biscayne with the top down in the middle of February was just SOOO COOL to this New England lad.

  2. omg! when beaver cleever had wally cut his hair! those beautiful refurbished cars! the dancing! it all brings back such happy memories! thanks for sharing don.

  3. The video should be extended by 3 minutes to include this from the soundtrack of American Graffiti,

  4. googled: wiki says this: According to Steve Cropper, the name is not a marijuana reference, rather it is named after the Green Badger’s[clarification needed] cat, Green Onions, whose way of walking inspired the riff.[4] Although, according to, the song was named by Booker T. Jones stating that when asked by Jim Stewart what he’d name the song, Booker T. Jones replied “Green Onions.” “Why ‘Green Onions’?” Jim asked. Booker T: “Because that is the nastiest thing I can think of and it’s something you throw away.”[5]
