The inauguration and ribbon cutting ceremonies were yesterday. I understand today it is fully open to the public with an air-show and other activities. I bumped into a person yesterday at Hotel Ciudad de David that was involved with some of the publication for today’s events.
Now, if we could just get those much touted direct to the USA flights going.
On another note, AA is flying direct to PTY from DFW!! Probably only a seasonal offer but still a great flight. Five hours then we are only 7 hours from David (by bus).
Did I miss all the publicity for the grand opening and the air show ???????/
