A Subway Breakfast

One of the best kept secrets in David is the breakfast omelet in the David Subway, located in Plaza El Terronal.. The price is $2.99 for an omelet with green pepper, onion, tomato and cheese salted and peppered to your specification.

It also comes with a coffee or cappuccino. This is one of the best breakfasts in David, bar none. With Lilliam gone, I eat there a couple times a week.

Here is a photo of today’s omelet in Subway’s sweet oatmeal bread. Yum!

If you stop in tell them you read about the omelets on Chiriquí Chatter.

  1. Don,
Have been having them for about a month and a half. I was trying to keep the secret to myself:-))
Pretty good value for $2.99 and good tasting as well.

  2. Don: Thanks for the info! I am a Subway freak – well sort of. My addiction is their tuna salad. Subways are a necessary stop on my trips back to the U.S. From my son’s house in Charlotte to my son’s house in Wilmington, I think I know where every Subway is along that long and boring drive.

Ironically, I don’t know how long the Subway was open here before I ‘discovered’ it. How many times I rode right past that big sign on the highway before it register – Subway? And I did not even know they had a breakfast menu until you posted this. Duh!

  3. Although the meat ball sandwiches were good, they only had three thumb size meat balls. That was a while back and I have not gone again.
