The Beginning

Today is the beginning of the long awaited trip. This morning Lilliam and I will fly to Panama City and will spend the night in the Milan hotel.

Tomorrow we will be picked up at the hotel and taken to Colon to board the Royal Caribbean Grandeur of the Seas for what I expect to be a wonderful trip.

As I have mentioned before, I will try to keep up with emails, but I can’t promise more then that.

I have made arrangements to have any U.S. Embassy American Citizen Services notices posted if they are issued.

Remember that today is the first day of the rest of your life. Enjoy it to the fullest and know that Lilliam and I will be doing the same.

  2. Dear Don and Lilliam,

I knew you were a special person from the time you answered my first email. You and your wife deserve every happiness and joy. What you did for that unfortunate man who was ill is not to be believed! As I’ve said before, you are a special gift from God to the people of Chirique. I know I will feel a lot safer knowing that you are around when I arrive in Panama. Thank you for what you have done.
Have a wonderful trip and enjoy every minute! Many good wishes from South Africa. Emilie

  3. Dear Don & Lilliam,
We know you both will have a wonderful trip. You both truly deserve this great trip. I met Don first through Chiriqui Chatter, then when we met you both at our house, we knew the 2 of you were great people. Don, you have truly helped us in many way’s, and your kindness and caring is truly appreciated. You do such great work in your writings.

Many wishes and enjoy your time on your trip.
We’ll be looking forward to hearing all about it, when you return.
