Volcan March Town Meeting

TOWN MEETING

The monthly Cerro Punta/Volcan Town Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 9th, 2011 at our NEW venue, Valley of the Moon Restaurant in Volcan. The Valley of the Moon Restaurant should not be hard to find as there are several signs along the way to their location. Just make a left at the Round Restaurant off the main Volcan road across the street from the gas station and follow the final signs to the Restaurant. The meeting will begin at 10:00 AM. For your calendar, Town Meetings are always held on the second Wednesday of the month.

Last month, we featured Mr. August Heim who talked about the attempted murder of himself and how he would like to bring those responsible to justice. We also featured Mr. Jon Bischel, an international tax attorney, author, University Professor and tax authority and Bill Faiferlick, an nationally known financial strategist, author, and radio personality. We were quite fortunate to have these two experts speak on the economy, taxes and the dollar, and answer many questions from our audience.

This month, we will feature three speakers. In past meetings, we have talked about gold and silver as commodities and this month we will have Larry Scher talk about a basic survival necessity, food, as a commodity. He will share insights about how fiat currency inflation is affecting food prices, and its availability, and specifically in talking points such as:

> Politically: Regime changes and world domination… Is food being used as a weapon ?
> Financially: Food Inflation and Worldwide Shortages… What should we prepare for ?
> Our Health: We are what we eat and depopulation…How to Eat More Healthy and be More Healthy as a Benefit to Avoid Premature and Degenerative Disease.
> What We Can Do: Food Storage, Growing your Own Food… Larry will share tips about different types of seeds, gardening, planting, harvesting and storing food.

You will not want to miss this informative and timely topic, since food prices played a role in the recent regime change in Egypt. Growing food is a basic right of all humans and an enjoyable and useful recreation. Find out also what it will take for you to have a “green thumb.”

Our other speakers are Mr. Harry Singh, who will be accompanied by, David Smith. Mr. Singh represents Swiss Metal Assets, with offices in Switzerland and Panama. Mr. Singh will talk about how to protect the purchasing power of your U.S. Dollar, currently being inflated, and make a profit, by purchasing rare industrial metals and silver granulates. SMA allows you to convert your currency into high demand rare industrial metals, … tax free…

Rare industrial use metals such as Indium, Hafnium, Gallium, Tantalum, Tellurium and Bismuth are featured into different purchasing packages with silver, in an industrial granulate form. These metals are stored in their warehouse in individually numbered accounts in the traditional, efficient Swiss manner and are insured. These packages averaged a gain of 51% on an individual investment return last year. This exceeded the performance of a precious metal that everyone is talking about now, gold.

To give you a further idea of the demand for these rare metals, Indium, for example, is used in the manufacture of flat screen TV’s, solar panels, and household electronics. Each household has an average consumption of 50 grams of Indium, annually. In developing countries like India however, each new year creates a demand for 10,000 additional tons of Indium in the world. Contrast this to the world production of Indium, which is 2000 tons yearly, as demand will outstrip supply and prices will increase accordingly. Another rare metal, Gallium is used in the manufacture of semiconductors, lasers, integrated circuits, light emitting diodes, transistors, and photo voltaic cells, among others.

Moreover, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the President of the Federation of German Industry forecast that the demand for these rare metals and their prices will continue to rise due to the economic growth of the BRIC countries: (Brazil, Russia, India and China).

In addition, we will feature some latest News Topics and inform you of developments that may affect you and your lifestyle here in Panama in regard to new laws, regulations, economics and new policies from decision makers in the U.S., Panama, and around the world. We will give you an update on the Gus Heim situation also.

We hope to see you on Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 and look forward to your participation as we believe that this presentation will be stimulating and thought provoking. Be sure to stay for lunch and try the Valley of the Moon Restaurant Special Town Meeting Menu and fare with its featured “Beyond Organic” cuisine. 1. Well well..

As I had advised: dollar down, gas & other prices up. It is staggeringly amazing to have conversations around these topics with average people. Most see no connection between the dilution of a ‘currency’ aka fiat & rising prices..especially when they’re holding only the ‘reserve’ in their wallets & accounts..

Oh well. This AM I see the dollar on the cusp of what should be a bounce or bludgeoning into the 70-72 range. Those who have scoffed in the past at the very idea of protecting themselves of this carnage have gotten their wake up call again.

Anyhow, someday I’ll get to these meetings.

In the meantime, readers of this post may enjoy this brief youtube video.. very informative but brief: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTUY16CkS-k

Keep in mind that QE1 didn’t work..so, why not try QE2? QE2’s handouts end in June or July–I cannot remember. What are the odds that these monsters will start calling for QE3 in the next few months?

    I’ll give it a conservative 98.9% chance.

What is that giant sucking sound? Don’t wait to find out..
