I was going to a function in Boquete last Friday night and I didn’t want to drive back to David late, so I made reservations in El Oasis B&B.
I paid $45 dollars plus tax and that included breakfast.
To get to El Oasis you cross the downtown Boquete bridge and turn right at the BCP. Down the road on the right is El Oasis.
Saturday morning before we checked out, we spent some time on the patio in the following photo.
It was a peaceful setting looking up on a hillside across the river running through Boquete.
Here is another photo of the Oasis.
A lot of work has been done shoring up the sides of the Caldera river. The BCP is the green building on the right side of the photo.
I mentioned that breakfast was included, but I would be remiss if I didn’t talk a little more about it.
This is the view from the table I sat at. What a nice setting. Birds were flying in and eating fruit that had been put out for them. The area was nicely groomed and flowers were abundant.
All breakfasts included coffee or hot chocolate, a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice, and a fruit plate.
You also had your choice of scrambled eggs with ham, fried eggs, or a ham and cheese omelet. You could also have toast, tostada or hojaldres. I took the omelet with hojaldres (fried bread – like donuts without the sugar). The omelet was super good.
I saw Antonio Singh and he told me he always stays there, so that is a good recommendation. I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and very happy that I stayed there. If you drop in El Oasis B&B, tell them you heard about them on Chiriquí Chatter.
