This morning as I was listening to Pandora. “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” came on sung by Israel Kamakawiwo.
Israel was an artist that was loved by all of Hawaii and mourned by the world when he died. His memory lives on through his music and his music seems to always fit the world as I see it looking out of my window in Panama.
It just doesn’t get any better than this.

I have been using VPN for a couple months now. The company I am using is ACEVPN. For the most part I am pleased, but it has not been perfect and I am not sure if the times I have performance problems are related to my specific VPN or to Cable Onda or to the sites I have been trying to access. If you have no idea what a VPN is or why you might want it, go back and read this previous post.
As I mentioned in another post, the primary reason I started this experiment was to access NetFlix for movies, which requires having a US IP address.
To this point, I haven’t felt that I consistently have performance that was good enough to sign up for NetFlix. Most of my testing has been using the HULU site, which has may TV programs and some movies. Sometimes it works well and sometimes it has buffering interruptions that would be intolerable if I were watching a NetFlix movie. Continue reading
