A Wonderful Thanksgiving To You All

Posted by Don Ray on Nov 26 2009 at 08:19 am

In the US, today will be a day of families getting together and celebrating all of the things that enrich their lives. To my family in the US, I am sorry I can’t be with you, but I am with you in spirit.

Many US citizens, like I, have moved to Panama and also recognize this day. However, with my move, I have tried to make every day a Thanksgiving Day. One day is just not enough.

Wherever you are, whatever your philosophy, I hope you and your loved ones have a very good day.

Happy Thanksgiving from Chiriquí Chatter.

    Dear Don,
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Koki! I hope you all have a really nice day and Koki gets a special treat on her first Thanksgiving with you. Your Chiriqui Chattter is a treat to read, and I’m guessing you’re feeling much better today.

    Take care,
    Clyde and Linda

Chiriquí Chatter is one of the items on my list of things to give thanks for, Don Ray. Nena and I start most days checking to see the latest adventure from Chiriquí! Thanks to you for providing us with that!

One big advantage to no Thanksgiving Day in Panama is no Black Friday shopping frenzy. Today is a good day to stay home in the US and not get caught up in the craziness.

Hi J&N. I just saw a message that my daughter had gotten into the shopping frenzy. I don’t ever remember going out on Black Friday, but I hope all of the stores do well and it is a sign that the economy is turning. Also, thanks for the kind words.
