The Bermuda Triangle got tired of warm weather. It moved to Finland. Now Santa Claus is missing.
This morning I stopped into a new store that has opened up in David. Apparently, they previously were in Boquete. The name of the store is International Quality Products (IQP).
It specializes in recliners, massage recliners, sofas, playground equipment and mattresses. They carry Serta, Berkline, Easylift, Shiatsu Massage and others.
They were the ones that provided the playground equipment for Parque Jose Maria Roy, behind the Iglesia Carmen. If you haven’t seen this park, it is worth a visit, especially if you have some young ones.
Here is a photo from the side of the store and what I noticed as I was driving by.
Here is the entrance. Continue reading IQP in David

Yesterday, we got to visit a coffee farm and roast coffee. What fun. I will have a future post to share, but I need time to prepare the photos.
We got to eat at Tammy’s in Boquete, which is one of my favorite places in Boquete to get get a good and reasonably priced meal.
Following Tammy’s we went across the street to see the new location for Sugar and Spice. Same goodies, better location.
Before we left Boquete, we stopped by the Pasteleria Alamana to have a strawberry tart with fresh whipped cream. – Yum!!!!! While we were there, a huge rain hit and we were unable to leave for a while. The poor fellow in the photo below was waiting for a bus. I didn’t envy him. Continue reading What A Great Day
Here are this morning’s photos of the project. The right side has been filled in with dirt and is ready to have the flooring rebar laid in preparation for the concrete to be poured.
In the next photo, the left side shows dirt that is being placed and will be tamped down as you saw in the last photo. Continue reading Neighborhood Project – October 19, 2009
Success always occurs in private and failure in full view.
There was a recent thread on one of the Yahoo groups about the availability of English language operating system laptops in Panama. I have seen them in the past in some shops in Panama City and occasionally PriceSmart has had some.
Saturday, I was at PriceSmart and looked at what was currently on the shelves. They had two laptops and both has the Spanish Keyboard and Spanish OS.
The also have started carrying netbooks. Today’s netbooks are more capable than laptops were a few years back plus have the added benefit of being lighter. They had four models on display. If I remember right, they had three ACER models and one HP.
