We Care Pharmacy Visited

A few months ago I received an email related to a new pharmacy in David that is set up to help Tri-Care and US Veterans with their pharmaceutical needs.

Today I found out where they are and stopped in to talk to them. If you are on the street beside the emergency room of Hospital Chiriquí going west, you will turn right about two streets past the hospital. Their address is Avenida 5 and 6 Calle B-Sur. After you turn right continue and you will eventually see them on the left.

Here is a photo of the front of the pharmacy.

I visited with the secretary Karen Guerra in the following photo.

She said they are able to get many drugs that the rest of the pharmacies in David do not carry and Tri-Care will help you get a bigger discount that the normal 20% jubilado discount.

If you are a Tri-Care participant, it might be worth your while to check them out. If you drop by, tell them you read about them on Chiriquí Chatter.

Here is the previous post which has more of a description of what they are about.

You have to love the Zoning laws (or lack of them) in my Panama. Many of the businesses you have showed us are on residential areas, and is a converted house. Good for them!

  2. Good morning Mr. Don:
Actually that use to be my house where I grew up. My family sold the house almost 2 years ago. Bring a lot of good memories of my chilhood. I miss my David!
    Thanks

  3. Don Ray and Jenizel:
My grandma house is now a boutique (I belive) located between the Transporte Cinco Estrellas bus terminal and where Bamvol used to be ( Obaldia Avenue). My mother just moved and they are renting the old house, but it seems people were looking at it for a bussiness also.

  4. Dear Don:

Interesting post that I have ‘stumbled’ onto, even though Google does have your site in the TOP 10 when one punches in something with country code ‘PM’ in their lookup. SEO man!

Too bad my trips to PTY haven’t y YET got me past the Albrook Mall, but with my not-yet-primed to that 6 hr drive to Da-Vid I’m sure, as long as there is life in my veins, I’ll eventually get there.

Your TCFL (Tri Care 4 Life) little ditty is interesting. It (your posting) specifically got my interest as I was at their site just 2 days ago.
The ‘authorization’ letter (from them) is the KEY, sanctioned after my phone calls to clarify theirs.
