Mosto Bistro Again
I was feeling like something different yesterday and thought it might be a good time for the second visit to Mosto Bistro. The first visit had been exceptional and I usually think it takes at least two times for a valid evaluation. Directions to Mosto Bistro are in the first post.
I really like this little restaurant. It has a simple yet elegant atmosphere. The music was perfect. It was soothing and created a great ambiance, putting us in the mood for a nice meal.
We ordered three different types of food. The first order was a vegetarian pasta. I was told it was very very good. It looked good.
Another ordered a fish dish and gave it two thumbs up.
I ordered a beef plate that had an apple and strawberry sauce. FANTASTIC! I really couldn’t imagine a strawberry flavor on beef, but it was very good.
The dessert was so good last time, that even though I was full, I convinced Natalie to share a chocolate flan with me. The presentation was super and the flavor was superb.
Things that usually help me return to a restaurant are as follows:
- The quality of the food. – So far I have not been disappointed.
- The friendliness and quality of the service. – Again, I have not been disappointed.
- The presentation of the food. – May be the best in David.
- The dining atmosphere. – Simple and elegant. I liked it.
I had heard about Mosto reopening in Volcan and asked about it. Apparently there is no relationship between the two restaurants and one in Volcan has completely different management. However, I was told that the chef in Volcan is good, so hopefully it will have high quality food as well.
I was very happy with my second visit to Mosto Bistro in David. If I want to take someone out to impress them, this restaurant will currently be one of my choices.

We went there Friday night and had a delightful time. The owners and staff are very friendly and professional. We shared a cream of mushroom soup based on your recommendation….yummeeee! Also had the Chipolte Chicken and Rollo de Mero. Excellent! When we mentioned your name, we received a big smile!

We ate there last week & had one of the best dinning experiences of my life, Great food & perfect service. We had a good laugh when we ordered wine & got the same wine we drink at home. We will be back.

Espectaculares! Once again you have outdone yourself – Joe and I ventured out to Mosto’s this evening for what was the most special meal that we have had in a very long time… The chef and his wonderful staff treated us like family but even more, like royalty!!! From the wonderful bottle of Argentine Malbec, fresh live lobster in the most succulent sauces, desserts of cheese cake and chocolate flan, finally a cup of coffee to top the evening off… I cannot tell you just how wonderful everything was. Bless you for seeking out these special places and sharing them with all of us…
