Yesterday, I had to go to Paso Canoas to pick up Sofia and Sussan who were coming to visit. As I got to Paso Canoas, there must have been over 20 semi-trucks parked on the side of the road.
I had to park by a bank and walk to the Costa Rican customs area. The following photo says it is the civic committee of Paso Canoas.
The following photo is looking toward Costa Rica. Local buses were being directed to the left and buses with passengers going to Panama were dropped off at the customs area.
The next photo is looking toward Panama.
A few cars were permitted to pass, but trucks were not moving. There is always something exciting to see. I was careful where I took photos. Some protesters can get upset if they think they are being photographed by people they don’t want photographing them.
