Another Crime Event Posted On A Yahoo Group
This is another post I picked up today on the Gringos of David Yahoo Group. This is another “be aware of who is around you” warning.
Just a caution – mugging
A friend(she is Panamanian) was mugged(2 days ago) just outside the Arrocha(my spelling my be off)pharmacy next to the El Rey & Do It center,she had just been to the nearby bank and then went to the Pharmacy, when she was getting back into the car a man jumped in and held her at knifepoint until he got the money & purse. The guy was most likely staking out the bank and followed her over to the store.

With the new HSBC bank opening in Plaza El Terronal, it allows for this sort of thing. Certainly something to think about.
Someone puts a knife to my throat and they had better be wearing Kelvar (just in case I miss their face).

I receive an update from the town in which I was born and the immigrant population is getting out of control, in addition to the kids born there that, I guess, are bored. The updates are robberies, graffiti, school shootings, 3 (l7 yrs old) kids killed a Mexican Immigrant, cars being broken into, drunk & disorderly conduct, domestic beatings, extensive arsons, etc., and this is every month I receive my newsletter. For only a small “coal town” it breaks my heart to read it and I wouldn’t move back to that specific place again. Sooooo, I guess life and where you live is your decision.
