Bazar Tun Tun

Yesterday, I was searching for fabric to cover the seats of some dining chairs. I went to three locations. The first was around the corner of Mendez Jewelry store on the street that runs in front of Oteima. I then walked toward the park and turned at the corner of the street that goes by Banistmo and the Post Office and turned left on the main shopping street. Around the middle of the block is another fabric store.
The first store I went to, I didn’t find the color I needed. I don’t remember seeing any prices on the fabrics and felt the prices I was quoted was a little high. The second store also didn’t have what I wanted. In cases like these you need to know as many stores as possible to possibly find what you want. I find the same thing is true when I am looking for PC parts.
The following photo shows the store that had a material that would work. Prices were clearly marked, which is good because you don’t have to wonder whether they change depending on the person asking. This store is across the street from Hotel Castilla.

I purchased chair material from Furniture City next to El Rey Supermarket. They have samples upstairs. It was $l3/yd.
The highest I saw priced at Tun Tun was $6.50/yd. I think what I bought was less than $4.00/yd.
hey don,
actually it’s across the street from multi-cafe 2 which is next door to the hotel…love this rain, don’t you!!!
Hi Bob. Thanks for improving the directions.
Yes, I am enjoying the rain. It did knock out my electricity for about an hour though.
