We were down for 3 week at the begining of January, and the prices seem to track pretty close: Panama being about .10 higher all the time.
Hardly a deal breaker.
We bought a house when there, and I’d love to tell you (and everyone) about our experiences when the appropriate thread comes up. I saw a little veering off course in the Novey thread.
Don,
Is $2.29 the actual price for a gallon or a liter? I’m planning to leave here again and drive back down shortly after the 4th of February. Thanks
Ron
$1.99 in Seattle
Guess we are not doing all that bad.

Gas sells by the gallon. However the octane ratings are different than in the US. 91 octane = 87 in the states and 95 in Panama = 91 in the US.
Hi. Looking forward to moving to Panama this year (before another winter!!!) Gas prices going up a bit lately. $1.64 here in New Jersey.
Here in the land of Oil and Gas, it is 81.9 per litre or about $3.00 per US gal. Figure that…
Sorry, this is from Alberta, Canada, for those that don’t know where I am from.
Hi Ken and Douglas. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
