Tammy’s Restaurant in Boquete

On yesterday’s trip to Boquete, we tried out a new restaurant, Tammy’s. What a great find. A friend had told me that there was now a great hamburger in Boquete and he was right. The menu is simple and reasonably priced.
Better than the price was the quality of the food! I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries. I can honestly say that this is the best hamburger I have ever eaten in Boquete. It contained ½ pound of meat that was cooked to perfection. I hated to take the last bite.
Another had the falafel Plate and raved about it.
Not pictured was a slice of cheesecake that was a true New York cheesecake. I had to try it because it looked so good and I wasn’t disappointed.
If you are in Boquete, I recommend your stopping by Tammy’s. Tell them you read about them on Chiriquí Chatter.
Leaving Tammy’s we drove around Boquete and I was happy to see the Boquete I love intact following the flood.
Then before we left Boquete, we stopped at the little German bakery for one of the fabulous strawberry tarts. I also ALWAYS buy a bag of the chocolate chip cookies. It makes the drive back to David so much more pleasent munching on some of those cookies!

Hi Lilia. If is behind Roxannes on th emain road into Boquete. Turn left at Roxannes. cross over the imediate bridge and park on the left. Didn’t see a sign.
yeah, it’s a great place. unfortunately for my diet, I live 100m from it!

My husband and I had lunch there a couple of weeks ago. He raved about the burger and I was delighted that I was able to order falafel and hummus. It was fabulous. Great food for meat eaters and non-meat eaters. I also was told that their roast chicken can’t be beat. Great prices and the owners are super people.
