I received information today that Paul and Jenny Saban (Paradise Gardens) were injured yesterday in an automobile accident.
Their car was hit by a speeding car that did not have headlights. My understanding is that one of the other car’s occupants was killed and the other is in critical condition.
I was told that Jenny is at home with cracked ribs, but that Paul is still in a David hospital. I do not know the hospital.
Volunteers are taking care of the animals.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Sabans.
Hi Don,
Thank you for your kind words. I am now home and recovering with internal bruising. Jen is very shaken up, has broken ribs, and is in a lot of pain but we hope that will start to subside over the next few days.
We were treated at Hospital Chiriqui and I would like to say, treated very well.
Our volunteers and friends have been fantastic and rallied around to keep the animals fed and cared for – we could not have wished for better.
Our grateful thanks to all of you for your kindness, support and prayers.
Paul and Jenny.
Paul and Jenny. I am glad to hear that you are both home. I have had separated ribs before and know how painful that is. You both take care and holler if you need anything.
Don and I will be in Boquete the third of Dec–we are looking at our schedule to see if we can help out for part or a whole day–we were at paradise gardens last Nov–we will be living in boquete in 2-3 years and would love to get involved more–best wishes on a fast recovery!!! Merry and Don
Thanks for dropping in Merry and taking the time to leave a comment.
