Sometime over monday night a female spider monkey was stolen from my house. She will almost certainly be offered for sale in the Gringo community in Chiriqui. She is very friendly and will be found raiding the kitchen, eating your houseplants or asleep in the armchair! She is in good condition despite her age, she is 40 years old.
If anybody has any info or is offered this animal please let me know on 6688 5901.
Thanks,
Norm
UPDATE:The monkey had been recovered. See comment below.

WOW,
I thought having endangered species as pets was disallowed by law? Just wondering.
.. I remember one time while on the job, I encountered a homeowner housing a monkey in a large metal cage in her living room. I think the only pet with the potential to top the odiferous slap in the face as one walked into this house may be a large cache of cats or a ferret pride left unattended for a few weeks. Positively pungent!
Today the 13th. Happy Birthday Don Ray! Hope it is a great one. Best Wishes, Sharon & Ken
Hi Don
just to let you know I have recovered my spider monkey, supposedly she was sold in San Andreas for $50 & a panamanian friend heard & went to find her.
Regards
Norm
Thanks for the Update Norm. Happy to hear that the monkey was recovered.
