Before and After
Sep 8th, 2008 by Don Ray

Back in June I took a photo of a house, in my neighborhood, that was raising its roof line. Last week, on a morning walk, I took a photo of the house now that the roof has been completed. While it does improve the looks of the house to have a higher pitched roof, the real benefit has to be providing space above the ceilings allowing for a cooler home.
The photo above was the photo last June. The photo below is the one I took last week.

Thanks, Don Ray. I always enjoy what you show of the homes and residential areas around David. Do you have favorite areas–not just ritzy, but places that are just nice places to live? I should also encourage you to show us more of your walking tours, even if you’ve already shown an area–I’m concerned about the number of chocolate chip cookies you may have absorbed!
Hi Frank. I will have you know that there are 5 chocolate chip cookies left out of the ones I bought yesterday. I have eaten 7. That shows real will power on my part. However, they might disappear tonight.
