Getting Ready For The Day
Aug 12th, 2008 by Don Ray
I spent a fair amount of time trying to decide what material to use for Dario’s class today. I finally decided to use one of John Grisham’s books. I have had it on the shelf to be read, so I will kill two birds with one book. I will get started reading this novel and I will introduce them to an interesting author.
This afternoon, I will see if I can get the Linux PC display up and running. Theoretically all I should have to do is configure the PC to use the store’s wireless router. If all goes well, the installation will not take long and then I can take some photos.
I hope that seeing Linux run will be enough to raise the interest in a few people to consider Linux instead of the higher priced systems of Microsoft and Apple. For people that want to play games, I suggest a wii, PS3 or Xbox.
The sun is shining. I am prepared. It is going to be a great day.

Don, what a great idea about the Grisham book! Then, perhaps those of us who have been waiting for it lo these many months can find it at Hal’s?!?!?!
The book is “The Street Lawyer”. Surely, you have already read it. I will try to get busy and get it read.
