ASUS Eee - Practical use
Jul 25th, 2008 by Don Ray
I brought my ASUS Eee with me to give it some practical use. It was good, that I had done that, because we needed to get some information from the net. About an hour before we departed for the airport, Natalie realized that her hotel reservation in Geneve, didn’t provide the hotel’s telephone #.
Not a problem. A quick Google search, provided the hotel’s web page and all contact information.
The Eee may be Wee, but it still is mighty.
I have also been using it for entertainment. I downloaded Jules Verne’s “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea” in audio form and stored it on the 6 gig flash drive. I also have a non-audio book, but may not get time to read it. I just listened to Chapter one. I have watched the Disney movie many times, but this is my first exposure to the book. Chapter one was 19 minutes in length.
I am happy to report that my Bronchitis seems to be coming under control. It is a good thing. I have things to do and places to see.
You may be interested to know that Natalie’s flight took off on schedule. A few tears were shed. I got a photo of Natalie and her sisters and mother in the terminal. I will post it when I get home.
That is all for now. Sofia is wanting me to go play with her.
