Pars Computer – David

The other day when I posted about buying the Forza UPS, I thought I had posted about Pars Computer in the past. When I did a search on the blog, I saw that I hadn’t. I was there today and I took photos of the store.
This photos shows the entire store. Everything here is related to PCs and assessories. You can see in the middle a large number of PC desks. I purchased my desk here 3 years ago.
Pars also carries several webcams. That was the primary reason I went bacvk today. I had seen a good Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 there the other day and I had been looking for one. When you buy webcams for Linux systems, one thing to double check is whether the brand is well supported by Linux. I have never had a Logitech that wasn’t. The one I bought is working great.
This is another shot showing that they carry a lot of cases and carrying cases for laptops.
It is always good to know all of the PC stores because when you are looking for something, it may not be in the first place you go. Pars has as good a selection of items as any shop in David. Pars is directly across the street from the Super99 super market and next to the Mirage Hotel and Casino.
If you stop in Pars, tell them you learned about them from Chiriquí Chatter. The general manager is Ramin and you may also talk to Alvaro. Both speak English.

Don Ray, having read about PARS on your site and having my computer go down, I thought I’d give them a try. They gave me same day service, great price, demonstrated that the computer was now running fine when I came back to pick it up - what can I say - you called it - they were great and lots of goodies to browse through!
