Have You Been Having Fun?
Jun 24th, 2008 by Don Ray
I can’t say that I have. I have spent the last two days with an extreme case of stomach cramps. I think the worst is over. The next 24 hours will tell the story. If I feel as much improved tomorrow, as I do this afternoon, I will declare myself well.
On another note, I did complete my my openSUSE Linux project. I have moved it to my primary PC and it is running like a charm. I went with the 3.5.9 version of KDE. I will continue to monitor KDE 4.0, but for now, I will stay with the more reliable system. I will say that I like the KDE 4 system and when 4.1 comes out, I will reconsider it.
I just noticed that when I put in the new system, I didn’t preserve my received, but not answered emails. I you wrote an email in the last couple of days, there is a good chance I lost it. Sorry.

And you thought Linux came without viruses.
Glad you are feeling better. Happy you are happy with your new system, makes life good.
Dear Don,
Glad you’re feeling better, Joyce LaGow with Living in Potrerillos was puny like you last week, she took some natural medicines that were prescribed by her good neighbors and she’s feeling better, thankfully, as well. Sure hope not too many folks get ill over what’s going around. Have a good evening, and we’ll be watching for your blog.

I am definitely on the mend. Glad everyone hasn’t given up on my coming back.

dear don ray,
and here i thought you were being “super geeky” glad you are
feeling better! we missed you ellen
D&B and Ellen,
Thanks for stopping in. Hey, when I am no longer geeky, then it will be because either the body or the mind has become too infirm.
Welcome back Don Ray!
Glad to hear you feel better. An advice to foreigners in Panama: Once the rainny season starts, be very careful with eating mangoes. Do you know how did our grandparents called your disease? “Mayo” ( May), because in the past, it started rainning in May and mangoes get contaminated easily and in many instances one cannot determine it without a microscope.
