Ouch!
Not good for anybody. I think that in the not too distant future, even realists such as myself will be wishing for the whimsical days of yore. The camelot of drunken money creation and the attendant glory days which someday may return…
Plant a garden, brew some biodiesel. McD’s & Pizza Hut probably have barrels of raw material stacked up right behind their stores! Aternatively, relocation to Brazil (learn a new language!) or Venezuela would be options. Just tell everybody you’re Canadian!
LOL!
Hi Dave. Panama uses a European standard of octane rating. You have to subtract 4 from the Panama octane number to get the US octane rating. 91 in Panama is 87 in the US. 95 in Panama is 91 in the US.

Venezuela may have cheap fuel, but there is more to a good life than filling the gas tank.
Hey Don,
Do the numbers represent the octaine rating (91 and 95)?
If so, than gas is cheaper there than in Seattle.

Ahh, so it IS too good to be true…
In Seattle, 87 is @ $4.25 while 91 is @ $4.49: About the same as there, but I was really hoping to get a steady supply of US spec 95 octaine…
Hi Dave. I guess I should put my octane reminder on the posts. The difference in octane ratings confused me when I got here.
