More US Army Humanitarian Work in Panama
Mar 18th, 2008 by Don Ray
I was at El Rey this morning and noticed some men in US Army attire in the parking lot. I walked over and talked to one of the individuals. He said they just came from working about seven days in the Bocas area. You may remember the post I did a year ago in the Chiriquí Grande area where the army was working on schools there. Last years post was called “To Rambala And Back”. You might enjoy the photos of the drive to Chiriqui Grande.
I was told that they have spent two days in Las Lajas working on a school and would be moving to Los Santos for more work. I just wanted to point out some more good work that is being done in Panama by the US.

Don,
C’mon.

The Army has done a lot of good work in Panama. Did you read last years post.
I did - and was most impressed. Excellent pictures too.
I would also like to point out some stupid work the U.S army is doing like all over the world…i.e IRAQ! Oh oH OH they are building a school in Las Lajas, praise the GRINGO praise the Gringo. Go home and fix New Orleans! yea yea, thats my rant. Open your eyes and stop pandering to the propaganda, the status quo. I did some good work yesterday i went to el Paraiso and gave her a tip, where is my praise!
Well you are welcome to your opinion. We will obviously disagree. Even on New Orleans. I think all money spent to block off an ocean from over running a city that was built below sea level is a waste of money.
While the work done by the army in Chiriqui Grande and around Panama, may not be of interest to you, I feel sure it is to those that are affected.
