Thanks to your notification, Bonnie and I witnessed the eclipse from our home in Arlington, VA. We could only stand a few minutes outside, in our heavy coats, as it was waaaaay below freezing. A few hours earlier, we got dusted by a light snowfall, and so didn’t expect to be able to see the eclipse.
Hi Don Ray,
Thanks to your notification, Bonnie and I witnessed the eclipse from our home in Arlington, VA. We could only stand a few minutes outside, in our heavy coats, as it was waaaaay below freezing. A few hours earlier, we got dusted by a light snowfall, and so didn’t expect to be able to see the eclipse.
Then, like magic, the clouds parted. Wonderful!
Best,
Monte
Here, I only could see the beginning of the eclipse. I have to assume that clouds formed because later I couldn’t see anything, the moon or stars.
Here, we could only see the beginning of the eclipse. It was really cloudy here so you could only see it now and then.
Hi Brian. Thanks for dropping in. Your experience was the same as I had here in David.
