Hi Nancy. First my name is Don not Bob.

Second - read a little more of the past posts and see if some of your questions are answered. If they aren´t then drop me another note.

Hi Bob I just got on your site and I'm enjoying the pictures. I am a 59 year old American thinking about retiring in Panama. I am an RN and my husband is a Ph.D college Professor. We would like to retire in an area where we could get reasonable healthcare, have good climate and interesting people. We need to get in touch with a real estate agent to show us property. We saw that you live in David. What can you tell us about that area and why did you choose it? Did you use a real estate agent when you relocated? If you could recommend someone that would be wonderful. We own a beach house on the outer banks of NC but the area is very expense to live and an early retirement would be difficult. The prices in Panama appear to be very reasonable. We hope we will find the area as lovely as it appears in pictures.

Again, any info you could share would be appreciated.

My best

Hi Mike. If you are facing the hotel, you follow the road to the left and it will cross a little bridge. This is the area where the alligators sun themselves.

Don, great pictures as always. But I have to ask this question. I was at the Playa Barqueta last month and I didn't see any alligators. Where did you find those there? I was just worried about sharks.

Hi Bob. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. There were also several groups of pelicans that flew over in a "V" formation, but I didn't have my camera ready to catch their photo.
