What Happened To The Brady Bunch?
Feb 4th, 2008 by Don Ray
Eli Manning sure did make everyone forget about the Brady bunch. It was a great game. Of course the commentary was in Spanish, but that didn’t take away from the excitement. I liked the finish.
I watched all the commercials this morning on the Internet. They weren’t broadcast here in Panama.

It’s was a great game last night I think NY deserves it. They played like they wanted it more the the NE.
Hi Veronica. I agree. They out played NE. The score really didn’t reflect the difference. Manning had about 5 passes dropped that should have been caught and NY smothered Brady.
Hmmmmm, I’d like to avoid comment, but that would be unfair to all those Giant fans–including apparently Don Ray since he liked the ending.
It was one of the best Super Bowls ever. That one play at the end of the game contained two miracles. First, that Manning got away even though one Patriot lineman had a handful of his jersey, and then the catch was incredible. In the paper this morning there is a photo of the the receiver’s first contact with the ball, and he has it only by one end while the Patriot is trying to knock it out. Then, as the receiver falls to the ground he has to hold it against his helmet.
Hi Tom.
I agree. That play was probably as amazing a play as I have ever seen. I really didn’t have a favorite going into the game, but as the game went on I felt that NY deserved it more.
Hi, Ray,
I followed the game from The Netherlands and even without commercial breaks it lasted 4 hours ! Although I spend a brief time in the USA I cannot get exited about the game, it just last forever ! Without any action. Sorry that’s my opinion. Of the typical American games I like basketball and baseball much more.
It might just be the difference between you (USA) and me (Europe). I did like Manning winning though.

That game was different from most because many wondered if Tom Brady could have a perfect year with zero losses. I like soccer, but just like baseball, it is more enjoyable to those who have played it. Soccer is boring to many that have never played it and don’t understand the difficulty.
