I was at the Chiriquí Mall yesterday afternoon. I noticed a commotion and went to see what had happened. Apparently this car made a left hand turn off the InterAmerican Highway into the Mall and was going a little too fast.
I am not quite sure how the driver got this Mercedes Benz parked like this. From what I heard, no one was injured. Amazing.
Don Ray, that’s quite easy to explain. The driver was just practicing his technique for parking his car in tight spaces.
Would have been interesting to have watched it as it was executed.
Possibly the driver was on the way to take the test for his/her license and became very, very, very nervous? Nah, probably talking on the cell phone….
I don’t think anyone was hurt, which is amazing in itself.
for any reason or “huevazon”, the driver lost control and collided with the lamp, a powerful German airbag did the rest by raising the car

I couldn’t tell if the airbag deployed or not. If it did, it was no longer visible.
