PriceSmart Visit
Jan 12th, 2008 by Don Ray
Yesterday, I was in PriceSmart and took a photo of an iMac that is being sold there. You can see that the price is $1,399. It comes with the previous OS X, This would compare to $1,199 with the new Leopard system in the US.
They had a great HP system here last week. Much faster processor than Apple, huge hard drive. I was going to take a photo of it today, but they are all gone. If you see it, and you like it, buy it. It will be gone in a day if it is a good buy.
I also picked up a box of these cookies. If you want a very tasty cookie. I recommend these. I picked some up last week and they were so good, I came back for more. Key Lime White Chocolate – Yum!

Nice looking cookies!
Regarding computers, do you recall roughly what price the HP system was?
On our last visit to David we saw the PriceSmart. Is it a regular retail store, a membership club, open to the public? what? We’ve been wondering.
Sunshine. The HP was a around $1,100. with a large flat screen monitor, video cam, and speakers.
Mary,
PriceSmart is a membership store like a SAMS. I usually go to the PriceSmart at least once o twice a week. It is a reasonably large store, with pharmacy, and all the sections you would expect. The one in Panama City is a little larger.
Thanks Don. The Apple one soudned a bit too expensive fo rmy pocket (not a fan of apple anyways). The HP one is a bit easier on the pocket book.
PS - I liked the look of the prices of the computers, from that store you mentioned a few days back in another thread (in David IIRC). I looked at their website. They assemble six different types of system IIRC, and the prices were very appealing.
The HP was a good buy. That is probably the reason they are all gone. I agree that the prices of YOYTEC looked pretty good.
