Request for help

I just received an email from a gentleman that lives in Sioux City, IA in the United States. He said he had received information that his father had died in a hospital in David on January 1 and wanted to get more information before he traveled here later this week. He was having difficulty working through the Consulate and State Dept rep that left the message.
If you live here and have information of a North American that died on January 1, please drop me an email. I am currently waiting on possible information, but just in case I will post this message for assistance. I am not posting any name, but if you have information and you and I confirm that it is the correct person, I will put the son in touch with you.

UPDATE: I have been able to find the information. David is a very small place and with a little luck I have been able to put the appropriate people in contact with each other.
Fortunately, I don’t know anybody who has died in Panama.
