I Am Better

I am happy to report that I am better. Yesterday, I could not get out of bed and stand up without two people helping me. After a day of wet towels, natural aloe vera, and several Ibuprofin, I was able to get up by myself today. All is not perfect, but I am much better. thanks for all the nice emails.
I was well enough that I was able to drive to the airport this morning. I noticed that Barnard has a new sign up pointing to the location of the restaurant. I was too early for lunch today, but maybe next time. Here was an earlier post on Bernard’s.

Very glad to hear that you’re feeling better. Very sorry to hear that you felt so bad, you needed assistance to become vertical. Cut that out now. After all don’t want you not to have a mucho grande weeweechu. (Don’t believe you made me say that!) Don & I will be back in Panama from Jan 4th - 23rd to p/u our pensionado visas. Wow. So, hope this time to link up with you when we head out to Chiriqui. Will try a bit harder this time. Maybe buy you some chicken soup.

OK. Call me Grinch. Now I’ll have to sing the thing to make up for my lack of spirit. Here goes. Ya don’t want to hear it, though. I could clear out a Karaoke bar with my songster voice. So I’ll just hum softly to myself, until Don says his famous line: “no singing!”

I hope you are feeling better. It seems you are having a ball. Your XMas Card is wonderful. I will show it to my son (8 yo), I bet he will enjoy it. By the way, are you planning to go back to Chiriqui mall to check the ice rink? I wonder if you are planning to do so and shows us how the rink looks like. Thanks
