The following upcoming event also occurred last year and it was very good. I probably won’t go this year, since I went last year. Someone else can take the photos this year. Tickets will be available tomorrow at Cocina Rica in David, next to Romero Doleguita and in Boquete en Plaza Los Establos. Contribution US$20.00 per person. Includes Welcome cocktail and Dinner. Bar will be available for other drinks at reasonable price.
The Moon Valley Night Jazz, is an introduction to the celebration of the Boquete Jazz Festival. This year event is at the historical house of the Tribaldos Family in Balbuena, David, will reunite to two outstanding Panamanian artists who to part of music share their life like spouses.
The Pianist Carlos Campos, that have been receiving fame by their presentations with the Big Band of the University of Panama that directs the Maetro and Trumpet Vitín Paz and by his presentations in the Jazz Club Plateo of the Casco Viejo in Panama city, as well as in important hotels of the city of Panama. And his wife the Chiricana, born in Volcan Luz Acosta, that was part of the musical grouping Rumba 5 and that today with an educated voice makes the delights of the music lovers with its own style and the use of the technique as scat.
The event will be Saturday 17 of November from 8:00p.m. in the Residence of the Tribaldos Family and includes Welcome Cocktail and Dinner. Carlos and Luz, alternated with the local musicians Fantasy Jazz with Boris Espinosa in the Sax Tenor and Quelvin Delgado in the Piano. The tickets are of sale in Cocina Rica in David in Avenida Obaldía and Boquete in Plaza Los Establos.
