  1. Hi Don Ray, Excuse the shameless self-promotion, but as we are on the subject of The Bookmark, I’d like to push my new book, Hubba Hubba, a novel about one man’s attempt to start over in paradise. Bob Applegate of the Bajareque Times has called this book “The Don’t Stop the Carnival” of the 21st century. And certainly for many Panamanian expats, I think it will strike a chord. You can ask Hal what he thinks, as he has read it. It is available at The Bookmark, Read & Relax in Boquete and at sales points throughout Panama and in Bocas. Anyone interested in how the book came to be (we lived in Bocas for 10 years before relocating to Chiriqui two years ago) is welcome to visit my website on cindycody.com. Thanks!

  2. Thanks, Don Ray. I never saw the Banana Bay link. In the new year, Banana Bay will be out in trade paperback at a much more reasonable price than the hardcover. And will, of course, be available at Hal’s. For anyone going to the city, I’m doing a book signing at Exedra Books on the 17th on Nov from 4.30 to 6.30 with wine and cheese.
