Congratulations to the Boston Red Socks

When all is said and done, the Colorado Rockies were just out gunned. I would have liked to have seen them win one game, but it just wasn’t in the cards.
21 of the last 26 games is pretty good, but when the last four games are in the World Series, it isn’t good enough.

I am a fan of Boston since moving here and seeing them play so much on TV. Manuel Corpas, a pitcher for the Rockies, is from Panama. For a list of players from Panama playing in the majors visit

Carlos Ruiz, the catcher for the Phillies, is from David.
Hi John. Thanks for leaving a comment and the link.
DonRay: Glad you didn’t miss it. Over the last ten years the American League has become much stronger than the National. The money people (TV, owners, etc)must hate the Rockies. First the Rockies swept two series and deprived the money makers of five games; now they did the reverse in the Series.
Hi Tom. The Rockies did a little better in the last two games. I think if they hadn’t had such a long lay off before the Series, they might have done better. However, the way Boston played, I doubt if the ending result would have changed.
