After leaving the bowling alley, I picked up Natalie from her new English class at Oteima. We decide it would be a good evening for me to try Las Brasas. Remember, I had gone too early the last time I tried to eat there. I had heard that they had great.
We got there about 6:00PM. They open at 5:00 PM. The menu had several items I wanted to try.
However since my current expedition was to compare hamburgers, I ordered the special hamburger for $2.50. It included two patties of meat, two slices of cheese, some bacon and lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion.
This is a great burger. It had a better flavor than TGIF. It is cooked over charcoal. I raved with each bite I took. The big problem, with many Panamanian hamburgers, is that they cook them to the hockey puck level of hardness. This was a tender burger and currently voted as the best burger in David by me.
I will return and I will sample some of their other beef or seafood items.
