Roctober - Who Will The Rockies Meet
Oct 16th, 2007 by Don Ray
The Colorado Rockies are going to the World Series. Winning 21 of their last 22 games is quite a feat. I hope the wait to find out who they will play doesn’t affect their momentum.
I fell asleep when the Diamondbacks closed to within two runs. However, I wasn’t surprised to wake up and see that the Rockies had held on to win.

When we lived in Colorado I had a business relationship with the company that produced the Rockies Media Guide and promotional material. They often offered tickets to games(which we took advantage of on many occasions) and once offered me the opportunity to throw the first pitch. Rockies games are always fun because you just never know what will happen or how many home runs will go out. I would love to be able to see one of the World Series games, but I don’t think I can justify a trip back just for that.
Hi Patricia. The Rockies are going to make an exciting series. At least that is my gut feeling.
I remember one 4th of July when we lived in Denver that I was in the back yard and looked up to see a number of snowflakes falling down. Now THAT would make an interesting World Series! I can’t imagine a town that would be more excited or exciting about being in the Series.
Snowflakes during the Series! Now that would be something to see.
