October is the time for Halloween and for some people it will be to time to make jack-o-lanterns. For others, it may be a time to make a pumpkin pie from fresh pumpkin. PriceSmart is ready for which ever need you have.
$12.99 must be something other than US Dollars. I think this size here would go for about $3.00 each. I assume these must have been flown in also. Anyway, it might be cheaper to buy a frozen pumpkin pie if they are available.
Hi Abe. No that is US dollars. You don’t find pumpkins like this in Panama, so I am sure they have come from the US. I will try to take a photo of the Panamanian type one of these days.
Hi Don Ray - at $12.99, not only did these pumpkins come from the US, they must’ve traveled first class! Chuleta! I’ll continue to use the local pumpkins for pie filling - after all, its the spices that make the difference.
