If you want to see how a single individual’s actions can have an impact on the entire world, then read this article in the New York Times about Edwardo Arias, a Kuna Indian in Panama City. Getting government officials to listen is not easy in any part of the world. I personally thinks he deserves a medal of honor for not giving up.
