Park At Your Own Risk
Sep 20th, 2007 by Don Ray
I went to the Chiriquí Mall today and turned in my paperwork to get my new digital license. Since I knew that I needed a copy of my pensionado card and my current driver’s license, the process was pretty painless.
If you are a Panamanian, then you will wait in the line in the following photo and they will probably have your license for you.

If you are not a Panamanian then you will go in the offices to the right (they moved their offices to the opposite side) and give them your copied documents and they will tell you when to expect your new license.
Now the reason for the title is that when I parked, to enter the mall, I noticed that they have put up new signs all over the parking lot.

It basically says, “Park at your own risk”. If anything is broken or stolen from your car, then the Chiriquí Mall is not responsible. Comforting greeting.

That is the first step,
folloed by warnings on coffe cups
“precaution, contains hot liquid”….don’t pour onto your ….
and micro wave instructions
“not suitable to dry pets or small childrens”
“welcome to the north american law and order”
as you wroute don’t be a ugly american
keep people reponsible for their acting.
Actually, I don’t believe that Panama would spend any money on signs unless it was a real problem.
