Exposición Estándar de Flores del Club de Jardineria de Chiriquí

If you live in Chiriquí, you owe it to yourself to visit the El Chiricano website every now and then. I just noticed on that there is going to be an flower exhibition put on by the Chiriquí Gardening Club in the Gran Hotel Nacional in David.
The event will be from 3:00 PM until 10:30 PM this Friday the 31st of August. It will also be open from 9:30 AM until 4:30 PM Saturday September 1.
The price of admission will be $2.00.

I remember that the El Chiricano article has URLs to two gardening sites. That is all I know. I may try to go by the Hotel Nacional Saturday.

One of my nieces is a member of the Gardening Club ( and also Aldeas S.O.S.). They meet the first Wednesday of each month to learn and raise awareness about plants and flowers and their role in environmental protection. Each one pays $5.00 per month. Their current President is Mrs. Reyes de Muñoz. My niece said that those who need further information may approach one of the members at the National Hotel during the Flower Show. Some of them speak English either as a first or second language.
